100% Estate grown.  Crafted by Shane McKerrow, formally wine maker at JL Chave in the Rhone Valley.


Left hanging on the vine until mid March, hand picked at around 13.8 Be,  cooled over night, then pressed into three different separate sections. Following fermentation the wine is racked off it's fine lees then each section aged individually in either new or 2nd season French Foudre, Puncheons and lastly some stainless steel. 


Tasting Notes:

A smashing, true to type example of Marsanne.  Soft floral notes on the nose,  cooked lemon, pear apple flavours giving way to a rich silken finish.



This wine is drinking beautifully now, however, put it down and be rewarded over the next five to ten years as the colour deepens and the flavours develop.  


Food Suggestions:

While this wine is delightful on its own try pairing with shell fish, a plate of steamed scallops or maybe freshly caught yabbies.
